Oxi Fresh Carpet Cleaning® offers two products that are designed to protect your carpet against stains.
The first is our Water Based Protectant, specifically designed to keep spills from setting into your carpet and causing stains. The protectant lasts six months and should therefore be re-applied after each cleaning. If a stain does develop, the protectant aids in the stain's removal the next time carpets are cleaned.
The second is our Solvent Based Protectant; Oxi Fresh's premium protectant. This product lasts two years and should therefore be reapplied every third or fourth cleaning. In addition to the benefits of the water based protectant, the solvent based protectant acts like a barrier between your carpet and spills. Similar to wax on a car, all spills bead up on the surface of the carpet rather than being absorbed. This sealant-like product will protect your carpet without changing the texture.
